Default new guy

Hi, I'm a new comer and I have a question.I have a 1994 454 with tbi. I would like to paint the engine,so I started to undo the wiring harness, but I'm having a hard time disconnecting the wires from the tbi injectors. I got the flap undone but I'm having a hard time unclasping the wire connector inside of the plastic hold.I used a mini screwdriver to unclasp it ,but it still doesn't want to come out. I don't want to damage it,but is there something I'm missing?

Welcome to the site Arnolddyer sorry I can't help with your delema
I know some of those harnesses have some good weather seals on them that can make them difficult to come apart

Welcome - they usually come right out when you squeeze the 2 tabs together and pull.
