I am curious if anybody has tried to put a 170 straight 6 in a newer model 4x4. Specifically an Explorer. Got a 64 out of an econoline, good runner, thinking about trying to get optimum fuel economy, have decent hp, and no new electronic fuel and emission stuff. Anybody else tried this before? Wondering about bellhousing on the V-6 trannys.
