Whats up people my name is Mike from Rockland County NY ( New City ) I started off with my 97 Silverado extended cab short bed lifted 6 inches on 31 inch tires. I gave that truck to my wife for christmas and I just picked myself up a 89 silverado reg cab , stepside with a 406ci motor and it needs quite a bit to get it good but its just time I enjoy spending on working on the truck and having a few beers anyway. 2 of my friends also have silverados one is a newer z71 and the other is a 94 silverado stepside with an escalade nose. Love the Chevy trucks and Im happy to be working on one of my own again.

Thanks fellas The white one is my new project I have been working on it for the past few days and got it running pretty good. Basically got the truck from a guy that couldnt finish it and his son in law attempted to and he was probably wearing an appron! (butcher) Lots of going over everything and could use some help with it if you guys have the time to answer a couple of questions when I am stumped. The blue truck was mine and I love that truck , gave it to my wife as a christmas gift and the wheels were just the stock ones and looked like crap so I went with the blacked out look ($6.95 rattle can) lol.

Today is the ehaust manifold gaskets, carb adjustment and try to get the vacuum lines correct, check the rest of the exhaust, back brakes locking up I think emergency cable is stuck gotta get under and check , run power cable and ground cables for battery terminals and whatever else I can get to because there is still a long list.
