I am looking to buy an F150 or a 1500 and only looking to spend $10K. I would like an extended cab. What is a better truck for the money? The Ford or the Chevy?

I had the same question a month or so ago....I didnt have as much money to spend as you, so was looking for something a bit older. Every truck I looked at had body issues (rust)..I fanally found a 97 GMC with a near perfect body, had been undercoated since new. I think thats the most important thing. Repairing mechanical parts are much easier to do than body work, in my mind anyways. Just like with women, look for a good body.....lol
