Newbie: FIrst thread post. Please forgive me if I'm in the wrong area; I'll get it figured out as I'm in a BMW forum and haven't gotten yelled at yet. Friday I purchased a 97 Silverado 3500 4x4. 124K miles. Nice truck. Went antelope hunting this morning (got one with a 14" rack/6" base for those interested), backed up about 150 yards when we hit a foot of snow and couldn't turn around. Next time I went to backup, no reverse. Anybody ever have this problem? The tranny feels like it wants to shift into R from P or N, but it does not engage. I have minimal reverse in 4WD low but nothing in 2H. Thanks.
