alright so a few things have always bothered me about some trucks, why would u want a non 4x4 truck? i mean sure if u dont have an immediate use for it, at least get a truck with 4x4 capability if u or someone u know really needs it.


My biggest pet peeve, is 2 door fullsize SUVs, why would u ever get a big new yukon, and then just limit ur self to 2 doors? why not just get the more convenient 4 door? it just doesnt make sense to me. can some one give a reason why 2 doors is in anyway more useful than 4 doors?


and lastly but not too high on my list, why get a standard cab truck? why not just get an extra cab for at the least jsut some more lockable storage space. (excluding tonneau covers) sure they may be cheaper for a brand new truck, but jsut get a few years old truck xtra cab? or wait a motnh or 2 tilu can pay for the difference? even if u dont want to carry more than 2 ppl ever, just put a lot of crap in the back then u wont have to carry anyone. i mean it barely effects mileage.

 

Variety is the spice of life..

They make things to try to please everyones wants or needs.
Its not like people are making you buy these types of vehicles that you find usless.
I find some vehicle uslesss as well. I dont care enough to worry about it or consider them a pain in the ***.
They are vehicles that I have to pass everyday on the road and I dont look in my rearview mirror for a second look at them.
I have a 4x4 truck And I am getting rid of it because it is sucking the gas out of it faster than I put it in.
But other than that the type of work that I do, sometimes it saves me a lot of time pulling out of muddy jobs.

second although i agree that it dosen't make sense to buy a new 2wd truck or suv but then on the other hand my truck is a 2wd and i bought it cause its a classic (15 or more years out of production) 1986 f-150 and i spent $1495.00

 

true i deffenently shouldnt worry about it, its not my truck, but i just cant help it!!! its like the geico commercial. who says no to pie and chips. its like pie, with chips! although i dont know anyone that eats those together often.

wheel man very good point. old cheap trucks make sense.i also have bought a 2wd truck because i fixed it up and sold it for a $4 grand profit.

I can relate to that wolf, i get realy mad when i see an escilade with 20" rims or decked out import cars that would take 10 grand to make it as fast as a stock mustang GT lol but i just tell my self "whatver blows ther hair back.
