How important is the maintenance record with regard to an out of factory warranty claim.
Do they do an investigation.
I know Chrysler/Dodge has a program for assessing the owners compliance with the factory service intervals.

I think it would depend on the nature of the claim. Is it something there is a bulletin on where they might do a good will repair? What exactly are you trying to get covered?
