Default Fog Lights

I have a 2009 Toyota Tacoma, how can I tell if it is wired for fog lights?
There is a electrical plug on the frame on both sides of the radiator.
What are they for?

Hello,

If your Tacoma is wired for fog lights, there are usually plugs or connectors near the front bumper. The plugs on the frame by the radiator are often for fog lights or for the wiring harness to connect fog lights.

To check:

Look in your owner’s manual for fog light wiring info.
Check the bumper area for a wiring connector that matches the fog light plug.
If there is a switch inside the cab for fog lights, it usually means the wiring is already there.
You can also trace the wires from the plug to see if they go to the bumper.

If the wires go to the bumper and have the right connectors, your truck is likely ready for fog lights.
