Default 2007+ Tundra owners, please read

Hey everyone, so I saw
, and picked up one of their new Air Filters for my 07 Tundra over the weekend. I think this is great, because in the past these were only available at the dealer. If you like working on your truck yourself, I'd suggest checking it out.

But anyway, have any of you owned one of these in the past? I've never had a washable/reusable filter before and thought the experts might have some input. How long is this really going to last me?

You can see the product here...

Don't waste your money on those! I've had the k&N drop in's and the CAI kits. Neither one improves mpg's or power! The CAI will add alittle with the use of a programmer with it. Just open your stock airbox on your 5.7L Tundra and yank out that smog screen in the upper half of your air box cover and you'll have something even better than the cold air kits that are comming out. Your stock air box is completely enclosed and is piped thru the inner fender to allow only cool air into it. The so called CAI kits allow hot air under the hood into it! My truck's mpg's went down almost 2mpg's when i put my magnaflow exhaust on and gutted my airbox of that extra filter. So, even without a programmer i see it did something along with my problem now of even more lower end torque as it is almost painful to try and go from a stoplight without spinning the tires, lol! I'm thinking of putting that smog filter back in for winter as i don't need that problem on frozen roads along with even worse mpg's in winter.

A co-worker has one on lease. He pulled the main filter out and got almost 4 more mpg. He says the secondary filter should do the job.
