88 toyota pu backfire

Default 88 toyota pu backfire
i'm haveing trouble with my truck backfireing and poping back thru the intake, like it's got water in the gas, but i've drained the tank it's clean anybody have any idea's, it has the 22re

someone told me it mite be the computer, does anyone think it mite be the knock sensor?

that really sounds like ur timming or maybe ur fireing order.

check your timing, your distributor could be 180 degrees out, pull the cap of and put the motor on top dead center number one cylinder and see if the rotor lines up with number one on the cap.
