howdy i have a 1990 toyota pickup and my tranny ate it's bearings and i am searching for another one and don't know the difference between a w series and a g series and was wondering if anyone can tell me the difference between the two any help would be appreciated thank you

 

The W-series is a 4- or 5-speed manual transmission built by Aisin-Warner, while the The G-series is a 4- and 5-speed manual transmission for rear wheel drive and all wheel drive applications, built by Aisin-Warner. nothing much info about the W-series so better get the G-series for your truck.
