Mine gets a little light in the front with 33s at 120+, but that was also going over a long bridge so wind may have been a factor. don't know top speed yet.

I got mine as an est from a mustang guy back in Texas. His speedo ends at 150 and he said he hung there for a prob a sec and he was off my rear bumper So he guessed we were in the low 160's, I was close to redlined in 5th, that was a few years ago. It would be nice to have a deeper speedo, but the trinity's and the like take care of that.

Wind and your trucks height has got to be what the light feeling is. When I wasn't in washington I was on the factory rims with low pro GT 2's, it just had a slight vibration.

I am going to check mine next time with the GPS. I didn't have it last time I had a chance to go that fast. I got called in at 4 am, and forgot to grab it.

Funny story - In my 93', I got called as backup to a bad wreck one night. The wreck was 30 miles away in the middle of nowhere, and I was closest. I was running @ 110 down a back road and passed a car (I did not have emergency lights on that truck). Then the car quickly got on my bumper and followed me all the way to the wreck. Later I found out it was a cop friend who recognozed my truck so he didn't pull me. He said I should get some emergency lights for my truck cause he was ready to bust someones *** till he realized it was me. Nice to have cop friends.

It's true it's great having cop friends, until they get bored.

I definately agree.

I thought about finding a way to add a little downforce to the front of the truck when going fast like that, but there is no good removable way, they are all more permanent, and remove off road ability, so I will deal with it.

How about making the front part of the hood movable with pneumatics.....

This is a truck not a ricer. I was thinking some kind or lower air dam modification. Although maybe some hood vents wuld help. Probably not enough though.

Not saying your B.Sing or anything as the mustang boy might have said that, but Ford guys are good at streching the truth a little! 160+ in a stock stang, unless it's a modded 03-04' cobra, aint going to happen! My 6.0L GTO chipped will only touch 160mph. A near stock truck won't come close to that.

It was an 03 GT he said he had a programmer, intake exaust and headers. We ended up meeting friends at the same strip club hell I though he was pulling in to fight. I've ran across alot of people that don't like losing to a truck at all. He bought me a shot and that was the last time I talked to him.

Not sure if he was bsing or not but damn pretty much redlined in 5th the stripes on the highway were blured hell felt faster we did it for a good bit too pretty stupid looking back on it but damn It felt great after, the club wasn't as good as the race. I'm gonna get some real numbers in a month or two though and put it to rest. The speedo also hung at 100 for a good bit after I let my foot off the gas, I know it was atleast 3 sec's I was more shocked at the fact it was still there and what I just did to think straight lol!
