12v at trailer connector

Default 12v at trailer connector
I am installing an auxillary back-up light system on my 99 Silverado. I have the factory 7 pin wiring harness but it does not have a 12v source. My instructions say to refer to the owners manual for missing fuse or relay but there is no refernce in my manual. Can any one help? Bob

What kind of 12V source are you looking for? Constant hot or what?
