So i just bought this 91 sierra 5.7 and the wipers arent really working. They only work on high and when i go to turn them off they will literally stop anywhere in the process instead of going all the way back down. Ive took the connector off and cleaned it but didnt help. The PO installed a aftermarket steering wheel so im wondering if its maybe in the switch instead of the actual motor. Any help would be great guys thanks

Column issue with these trucks
They will either loose high speed wiper or low speed or the ablility to park etc.
If your handy you can fix it yourself or buy the replacement circuit board.

I have fixed a lot with just a piece of wire and two round eyelet connectors on each end of the wire.. Run a wire from the cover screw to the screw that mounts the wiper motor to the firewall. The circuit board looses the ground. Your just creating a new one, cheap fix.
