hello, i have a 2002 chevrolet z71 with a 5.3 and service engine soon light came on so i took it to auto zone and they read the code for me. turns outthe one of the o2 sensors went out. i was wondering which sensor was bank 2 sensor #2

 

bank 2 is right...sensor 2 is rear.

the guys at autozone didn't know that?

 

Ha ha! Not suprised. When I worked at Advance Auto, there was only two people who knew how to run the scanner, let alone what the codes meant.

 

Change all of them. It's time. If you still get a light. It is possible you have a bad Cat.
Not uncommon for 2002/ 2003

 

Can someone say, "turn those things off"?...
