Default 2007 parts BACK ORDERED!! Where can I get one?

I recently went to the dealer to order a towing electrical receptacle socket for my Silverado. That part that is at the bumper where you connect your wires assembly to the trailer. The dealer said there were none in Kansas and they were back ordered. I asked would it be a couple of days weeks or months. He looked away and said he couldn't say. Don't call us we'll call you. Anyone know where I can order one in less time?

what about U-Haul ? Are you talking about the round black plastic receptacle that has a 7 wire round plug? Wally World sells that stuff too.

Yeap that's the part, I've just been told on another site that any parts store can sell me a simular socket. The factory part cost $64, think I'll go to the parts store.

I think U-Haul would be your best bet as they know whats right for your vehicle, but i did see them in Wally World as well, good luck
