I am looking to trade my 2003 1500 Sierra in for a 2500 Chevy or GMC. I was looking to get the 6.0L V8 but before I did anything I wanted to know what kind of mileage they get. The sales people don’t have a clue. I wasn’t sure if the 6.0L or 6.6L would be better for me but I am looking for a crew cab 2500HD 4x4. Thanks for your help

 

The 6.6 will be the diesel. There is only one downfall to going with the duramax... You would have to keep your foot out of it at red lights otherwise the tires will be gone. Stock 365 horses and 600 some odd lb/ft of torque is nothing to joke about.

a 6.0 gasser will get 12-13 on a good day.
