It used to be that way when I started too but sometimes it turns into a general BS forum. Ah, what can you do. If I started my own forum, ya think I could make it work? I was thinking about a "anyone can join and discuss anything about cars and trucks" type of forum. It would be good experience for me with the web developing and I think it would be fun.
Ah the good old days where a post would go 10 to 15 pages of crap but it was fun. Yeah that was the good old days. Now most everyone has left from those days.

hey guys just something to chew on. I use 20-50W castrol once the trucks go over 50,000 miles. I put 571,000 on my last blue truck and the guy that has it still drives today. Last time I seen it....it had 620,000.It was a 90 GMC with the 350. Never had the valve covers off or put a timing chain in. Just change oil and tune up as needed they go a long way. I have 189,000 on my 1999 one ton.

I would like to go with the heavier oil, but don't want to kill my acceleration or gas mileage. How did it effect this on your truck?
