mostly when im not giving it gas it dies. then on occasion when driving up hill. thats generally when it dies. also can i take the power steering off the truck without damaging anything?

 

with the TBI it will have a breather on the top right? and is there any way to change it to an intake system like on the newer trucks?


Yes, there are kits out there for intakes like the newer trucks. A chome 14" air cleaner and a K&N 14x3" or 14x4" air cleaner will work too.
