Default 91 350 Tbi Intake?

I have a 350 tbi intake and was wondering if anyone has replaced theirs with the edlebrock stock replacemnet intake and if is worth doing. Later I would like to also install the matching cam for that. Any comments or opinion would be greatly appreciated.

Hey I think that would be a good idea. You will gain alot of top end power.

Havent tried the intake yet but...My 1989 C2500 runs like a pissed big block with

rebuilt 5.7 shortblock
.030 pistons (go to true flattop with 4valve reliefs, throw out original dish pistons)
block deck height milled to 0
Rebuilt stock heads with three angle valve job
install COMP cams smallr RV cam

Your compression will be darn near 11;01 but these trucks are equipped with knock sensor just run the fuel you want...You will FEel diff with 94 octane. I have run 87 octane for 7 years with this combo ....no issues. If I tow I put 94 in it.

Everything else stock (except air cleaner. This is best running truck I have ever drove or owned I cant get rid of it

Got the intake installed and found out how much timing meant. Was an inch out and run like crap but after timing set runs like a scalded dog. Wow what a difference. Now just waiting on free performance chip from edlebrock. Caint wait to see how much a difference that makes. Thanks for the input guys.

Welcome! Glad you like it. The only other thing I had to do to my Edelbrock intake was to grind out teh hole where the EGR went. For some reason it was not big enough for the stock GM egr valve.
