Default 91 gmc sierra 1500 Sterring column

I took apart my steering column so i could tighten the 4 bolts near the end of the steering column. While taking it apart a little spring fell out somewhere. i have no idea where it goes. ( The little spring on the bottom of the picture). I looked at many guides on the internet and this little spring is never mentioned. I did find it one guide that mentioned it but i am still unsure where this little spring goes. Please help.

Edit: this is the guide that mentioned the little spring and also where i got the picture. Its for a different vehicle but the steering column is almost identical. http://www.buickperformance.com/tilt...lumnwobble.htm

yea I put everything back together and everything worked great. I have to replace my key tumbler so I thought I would try to find out where that little spring goes. I cant find anything about that spring besides that link I sent.

[Problem Solved]

I found a really nice guide and it showed me where the spring goes. Never thought the spring would go there. I knew it stopped something from rubbing.
