Hey guys have a prob with my truck.
92 chev 1/2 ton ext cab v8 2wd

Heater fan works great got cold air and warm air but the window vents have no air flow. Floor and dash work great. When i set to window i get a whistling sound and no air flow and with winter here it sucks. What could the prob be and what kind of parts with i need to fix it? I have a haynes manual and can figure out pretty much anything with a little direction.

Cable or door problem with your heater box.

Thankfully for you, the heater boxes on these older Silverados are pretty easy to work on

Sounds like you have a stuck door. The fan position selector motor is just to the right of your right leg when sitting in the drivers seat. There is a little motor down there on the side of the air plenum that moves the blend doors around. I would start by removing the motor (3 brass colored 7/32nds) and moving the doors manually. Sometimes they can stick, especially if they aren't used in that position a lot.
