Default 98 gmc k1500 sensor issues

In my 98 GMC K1500 5-speed, I am having constant issues with the knock sensor-P0327 and the camshaft position sensor-P0340. I have gotten a code for both multiple times. I replaced the knock sensor, pigtail, and wire because I couldnt find the old one anywhere in the harnesses near the starter. I only replaced the camshaft position sensor because the pigtail seemed fine and clean. I do have an oil leak that I have not found yet because I need to pressure wash the bottom of the truck and I just purchased the truck. The 2 codes keep coming back. I have double checked wiring and after clearing the code, I won't have the check engine light on for about 5 miles then it kicks back on. I am kind of at a loss with this one. I want the knock sensor to work properly and not bypass it in case I get engine knock (I currently do not that I know of). Any help would be greatly appreciated.
