Question AC compressor cycles when the AC isnt turned on

Hello, I have a 95 GMC pickup with a 350 V8. The AC compressor clutch keeps cycling even though the AC isn't turned on (it does it even when the temp control is turned to heat) Might i add that the heat and air controls seam to be working fine. Would the AC pressure switch cause it to do this if the AC isn't turned on?

Default AC troubles

Ok...my buddy came over and looked it over. I guess when the temp control is in the defrost position, it causes the compressor to cycle. Im not sure if it stops after the truck warms up yet...but i will check it out on a cool day.

This is normal and will continue to do it. it is something that GM and Ford and some others did to help with defrost and to keep the oil moving in the compressor so it doesnt lock up....it all came about shortly after the 1 belt for every thing idea.....................
