I know the x pipe aside from sound can add performance if it's bigger, I think it's $20-25 for one not including install.

gotta help performance, ford has put them on mustangs and Lincolns for 25 years wellH pipes but there just about the same. Back to accessories, I really wanted a A pillar gauge pod but i don't know what i would put in it. I already have everything on the dash cluster.

unless you have a turbo, nitrous, or a super charger i wouldn'd do the apod thing. it will make your truck look like a ricer.

For me the benefits of a x pipe would be the sound. It will balance the sound from the 2 pipes. I know this is off topic but does anyone have there exhaust coming out high right behind the tires andkind of pointing down. I really want to bring a picture to the muffler shop so I get exactly what I want.
you mean like this? my tips are long, so they come out more at the corner of the bumper, but they start pointing down and out at the tires

That's not rice. Having them in there and not having them hooked up is rice. Or better yet, having a huge chrome tachometer when the car comes with one stock.

Hey Jake, Thats basically what the guy at work has on his truck. I got pix today if ya want me to send em to ya, but they are almost exactly what chevy112488 has on his truck. It was a toss up on what i want for exhaust but i'm goin with the straight out the back, with chrome tips. Probably wont do it til next summer tho. Jim

yeah during hunting season its usually that color... the way i see it, if the paints covered, it wont fade!
