Default Air conditioner problems

Today after work i was on my way home my windows fogged over due to rain and warmth so i turned on my heat just a little to defrost the window then when it was done i turned it off the. Wanted to turn the ac on so i turned it to max ac and as cold as it would go nothin it kept blowing out hot air for about 20milez home this was with my ac switch on and the temp control to the very bottom of the blue and with the blower seting on 5 it did that before and i shut the truck off for at least 7hours then turned it on to ac and it worked fine cold air and all but not today just kept getting hotter and hotter with the ac on im thinking maybe something to do with the climate switch or my thermostats cuz my temp guage was at 210 and i havent drove the truck for around 5 hours But it was still hot when i went to the store 5 minutes ago and my coolant hose was hot and was squishy when checked it. And ideas

Make sure the A/C - Heater blend door motor is moving through its entire motion. It could be hung up so the heater is on all the time.

That actuator is the one just to the left of the glove box (behind the dash). You can remove the glove box and see it though. Turn your key to the on position or have the truck running and while looking back there move the temp controller from cold to hot back and forth to see if the motor is turning. There is a little circular piece on the back of the motor that will move. It is possible for the motor to move but not be moving the blend door though so you may still need to pull the motor (should be 2 or 3 - 7/32nd screws) and manually move the door yourself to see if you get cold air.
