If it is glued on, I have had good luck with getting fishing line and running it behind the emblem with a swawing motion. The adhesive can then be removed with WD40 or something similar.

What year is it. If it is a later model like 04 or later it should just pop off i think!!! There are two clips that are on the back of it!!

Actually on an '04, there are two plastic posts on the back of it with two little self threading nuts on them. Take off the plastic shroud from between the radiator and the grill, reach down and you can get to them.

Dunno what you want to do with the bowtie, but the gray plastic back is attached to the front with four sticky pads. The front part of the tie is a tinted plastic with a silver backing (the tinted plastic makes the silver look golden through it.

what about an 02? i painted my bowtie with it on, but it has a run in it, and it'd be damn easier if i could pop that thing off
