RPM Outlet isa friggin' joke. I ordered a set of headers and a throttle body spacerfor$431.00for my friend's 2003 F150 on Monday, the 2nd of April. They said it would be coming from Houston, TX, (about 2 hours from me), so it would be on my front porch byThursday, the 5th.The next Monday, A WEEK LATER, I called them back and asked what the status of my order was, as the UPS trackerthey provided on the website was unable to locate my package. They said they "must have had tobackorder a part", even though they told me they had both of the parts in stock at the time I placed my order. I called back a couple of days later, and they told me the parttill had to be ordered fromthe manufacturer and it would be in by the end of the week.I told them that was bull**** and demanded they refund the money back into my account. Theyagreed and said my money would be back in my account in 3-5 days. I'll believe that whenI see it... Anybody want to take a road trip toHouston???

Moral of the story, ALWAYS BUY FROM SUMMIT OR JEG'S!!!

 

well that sucks. summits always good. and about that road trip, im more then willing to go. as long as someone else pays for gas. lol

I kinda had an experience with 4 wheel online.com. I bought my volant from there cause it was cheap and they offer free shipping. This was on a monday. I called and had it 3 day'd cause they assured me I would have it by Friday. Well I didn't get it till the next Tuesday and they would only credit me $10 of the $35 that I paid extra. And it took a week before the $10 was even applied. I guess we just need to be careful

 

I say we just boycott them all and start are own store straight from the source!

 

Damn I'm in Bryan/College Station,Tx. I didn't know we were so close to each other. Someone should throw up an idea say for like a track meet or something. Just a thought. Oh and to the matresses! On the Boycott Idea!!!!
