Brake and ABS lights on intermittantly
Hi all and thanks in advance for your wisdom.
Lately on my 2000 GMC Sierra 1500 2wd I have been getting an intermittant Brake and ABS lights that will illuminate after a few miles.
The only troubleshooting I have done so far is to pull the front wheels and stick an ohm meter on the sensors and I have found the left sensor to be 1.1 k ohms, while the right seed reads completely open, yet when I turn the ignition on, the lights were not on!
So it seemspretty obvious to me that the right sensor is bad.
Does anyone know what the resistance spec is supposed to be for a normal sensor??
Additionally, is the sensor easy to change or is it buried in the hub/bearing assy?
Thanks again.
