what I did is I just bought a 3" pipe, took it to the muffler man and told him what I wanted him to do with it. I never said what it was for and as far as he's concerned, it doesn't matter. total cost: $31

 

I was having a misfire issue also. My truck was running like crap and throwing everything from random/multiple misfire codes to tps codes to mas codes and as soon as i cut the cats out it started running 100 times better. i am stoked. for some reason it even cleared my knock sensor codes. i have changed both sensors and the harness and it came back but as soon as i cut the cats it was like the fix for everything. really weird but im not complaining. Thanks for everyones input.
