Hey folks, I have an 04 Silverado 2500 and bought it without an owners manual. Although I use Amsoil at oil change every 3000 mi. or so, I have not figured out how to turn off the light that appears on the DIC every time I start the engine. Anybody know the trick for this? TIA..........Tom

 

If i remember right( its been a few years since my Jiffy Lube days) you turn the key on and pump the gas pedel 3 times.

 

Thats right then turn the key back off. The very next time you start it (if you did it right) the change oil light will come on and flash then you know it has been reset.

sometimes you have to do it a couple times to get it right but it is pretty simple
