Default coil spacer?

im thinking about getting some daystar coil spring spacers to level out the front of my truck (and get bigger tires), and i keep asking different people how safe they are, and half of them tell me "oh they're fine i've had them forever no problem" and some people refuse to install them because they supposedly will shoot out of the spring when you're rounding a sharp curve.

so, anybody have them or have any experience with them? it seems like a cheap way to level it out, since i dont have torsion bars (damn 2wd)

Default RE: coil spacer?

Well I have never used them but I talked to a guy when I was in school that had bought some for his Nissan pickup and he said they weren't in there very long before they work themselves out of the spring. He ended up routinely cutting small blocks of wood and sticking those in his springs just to jack it up that little bit but those would only stay in place until the first pot hole or speed bump and that was it.
