Default custom tune

I know several of you have gotten your tunes done already. I am planning on getting mine tomorrow. Can you tell me how aggressive you were and the gains you have gotten, as well as anything you would have done differently?

I just want to know if getting a custom tune has anyone been able to break their tires loose after getting rid of the torque management.

took the diff out and welded the spider gears across where the teeth come together and took all the gears within and welded them to the carrier itself, all i can say is keep on welding keep om welding to make it strong enough, i only did it so i could move the thing, as the rear end had blown up, now i have a new one in. Oh yeah, when your welding make sure not to weld for too long and to take breaks between as to not heat up the bearings. When your done though it is basicly a spool rearend if you do it good enough. My 99 must not have that torque deal on it, cause it was spinnin

I put in my new computer and HOLY ****!!! This truck is fast as hell!!! I can't stop spinning the tires. The 0-60 is down to 4.8 sec. I can't believe it.........................OK, I was just hoping. I just ordered the computer so we will see. I ordered the tune with moderate shift firmness normally, heavy firmness at wide open throttle, 200 mph speed limiter, heavy torque management removal except moderate when in tow haul mode, and speedometer recal for tire height. I will let you know the results.

I got 60% of TM removed, 91 octane tune, pin #42activated, put my LS1 fans in, increased firmness at wide open throttle, and had the speed limiter removed... HAULS ***!!! If I am cruising at around 26-28 MPH, and punch it, it will pin my head to the seat... I'm going to the track tom. night, and i'll post my new times...
