Default Dash Lights

I just got a remote starter installed and when I went to pick up the truck some of my dash lights didn't work. The lights that don't work anymore are on the radio, the numbers 1-4 don't light up anymore. I brought it back to the people that installed the remote starter and they said that they had nothing to do with it. I find that hard to believe being as it worked before I brought it there. Just wondering if anybody else has had this problem and if it is an easy fix. Also wondering if you think the remote starter installers are responsible, should I make them pay to fix it?

Yeah I have the same problem. Acouple of my raido lights dont work and my A/C button doesent light up. It sucks. I thought it may be a fuse or something but all of the fusses are ok. If anyone knows how to fix this problem please tell us. Thanks

Sounds to me like.... a pushed out cannon plug pin/s.

If one or more of the pins in the male half of your componant's cannon plug is pushed out instead of mating with the female half of the plug you may end up with the dash lights problems that you described. You'll have to get behind your effected dash componant and check your cannon plugs. Before you unplug them check to see if any of the wires going into the plugs are sticking up higher than the rest of them. Most of the time you can just push the wire back into the slot and it will simply click back in. I had this problem and this is what I had to do to correct it.
Hope this helps.

Agree with Mark. Most likely a loose connection. Sounds like a fairly common problem.
