I have not heard and noises as of yet and the throttle responce to me is so so. I talked to a dealership guy last week and he said the screen in teh MAF helps to smooth and measure the air flow and heat measurements too. Anyone heard of such a thing?

 

I seem to remember a big discussion on this very topic a few months back and i think that there never really was an answer one way or the other. Basically no one had a problem who had done it, but some people believe very stongly that it is there for a reason therefore dont touch it. So basically its a personal call.
