Electric fan idea has failed.

I know at the Dodge dealership they use and air chisel to turn the nut. Just stick it on the flat part of the nut on one side of that flat part(the side that would turn it to loosen it) and chisel away. It works.

Lol, it prob would work but forget about putting it back together and using the nut ever again. (there is only one nut that holds the whole assembly together to the pully and it doesn't look easy to find in a parts store).

Jcbst12 - I looked and no gaps. The fans go all the way to the edge of the middle section. Also it is plastic on the edges. I assume it is alluminum covered in plastic, but not sure, I have never checked. I think that if it didn't go to the edge you would lose alot of suction power.

K Thanks Smoke. That means I'd have to modify the fans off of a 2005 and up to fit my truck anyways. Thanks BlackHorse, you have a classic style or the new(er) style 99?
