Exclamation Engine Misfire

Here is the problem. My truck has no power it struggles to accelerate and my SES starts blinking, when I checked the codes it gave me multi cyl misfire and a MAF/VAF malfunction code. Also there is a rattleing noise coming from under my truck when i accelerate. What could cause this. Could a clogged cat be the problem? I recently replaced the plugs and wires and today replaced the fuel filter. Any help on this would be great.

Problem solved!!!! after spending 5 hours troubleshooting my engine fuel system and ignition system i cut my cats open and they were both clogged. Engine was not breating so I just hollowed em out welded em shut and now she runs better than before.

Do you have any lights or any SES codes now?? The CATS are stupid and you can blame some Eco mentalist for that

I've seen some dyno sheets and they said a 5hp gain is an outcome of cutting the cats off. An extra 5hp for free sounds good to me. If you can get away with it, do it. That's what I think anyway, and that's what I do.
