Default RE: engine swap?

i was going to do the same swap but opted for a TPI motor instead,if you dont have the original key for the car you need to bypass the Vehicle Anti Theft System(VATS) on the ECM or the motor wont start, you can buy a VATS bypass chip, or you can just go all out and buy the painless perfect engine management wiring harness that includes the computer, all you have to do is hook up your ignition, but your looking at a 1200-$1500 wiring harness. and if you cant afford the harness i say just get every last sensor, fuse and wire out of the original car and label everything before you take it out, get everything and if possible get the key and steering column as well. doing a motor swap like that takes a long time and it gets very frustrating..so good luck!

BFEKID,
If you're still in the market for an engine drop me a pm.
How about a low mileage 5.3L vortec with 4L60E trans?
By low mileage I mean about 20 miles on each.
They come with wiring harness + comp., alternator, a/c comp.,
fan and air intake assembly, starter and headers.
All factory equipment for less then you'd expect.
