I have a 83 Chevy 4x4. and my u-joints are bad where do i get new ones?(kinda a stupid question i know) and my transfer case is leaking out the front drive shaft. would that be a seal or? sorry new to having a truck i appreciate any help thanks.

well you can get u joints at just about any automotive parts store and distributer
try oriellys or napa
also as transfer case fluid i think its good ole trans fluid
but your front and rear differentials will need special gear oil 80/90 wieght or you can use lucas synthetic differential fluid

 

Yes that leak is do to a bad seal. Replace it ASAP your get comfortable at checking the Transfer case fluid level.

 

Look up a couple videos on replacing U-Joints if you haven't done them before... it's a little tricky
