Default A few Questions, Tires and Perfomance (new truck)

I just picked up a 2000 GMC 1500sle Club cab 4x4 with the 5.3l. so far I love it but would like to know what are the largest tires I can fit stock (on stock rims no lift), and I am going to put on cold air and exhaust this summer and am looking at getting a programmer. what should I go with for the exhaust intake and programmer. thanks alot. here is a pic

285/75/r16 is the biggest tire you can run stock... exhaust is up to you, true duals aren't recommended, the new engines need backpressure for torque... intake, i personally think the free intake mods work just as well as any bought intake (check the silverado faq's for the free horsepower list)... and a custom tune is the way to go instead of a programmer but if you want a programmer go with a predator (thats just me though)

btw you might as well just post on the silverado forum lots more traffic over there
