I have a 05 Tahoe. The gas pedal stuck down. Took it to mechanic who found that there is a little spring behind the gas pedal that had become loose. One end of the spring is straight, like a pin. The straight end stuck into the carpet causing the pedal to stay down. Has anyone else ever experienced this? Thank you, Larry

 

You weren't driving when this happened were you?
I have never had that happen. Iknew fly by wire would eliminate breaking cables but this is worse.
