Hi everyone.

I was traveling to work this past weds. , and got rear ended pretty good.

My truck is a 2004 GMC Sierra 1500 4x4. The factory reciever/hitch assemby took almost all of the impact causing the least 2 feet of the frames rails to buckle. I think the frame must have been torqued a little as well because the bed had dinged the left rear corner of the cab.

I am getting mixed opinions on wether or not the insurance is going to total the truck or have it repaired. My dealer is telling me that it will never be right again unless they replace both frame rails and the cost of doing that just might put it in the "beyond economical repair" catagory.

I am hoping the truck is repairable and I really do not want new set of payments on another truck.
