congratulations on your new trucks... im with hunt on this one, decide what you want to do as far as a lift first, then do tires, and if you get up to 35s youre going to want new wheels to kick the tires out a little...

personally, i'd do exhaust first
Speaking of exhaust what do you have on your truck? I had a 99 and had magnaflow exhaust put on. The sound was ok, but not what I was really looking for. I have an 04 Crew Cab now with a 5.7 and I am just curious what others are putting on for exhaust.
i have a single in dual out ravin z55 muffler with no cats... it sounds awesome but it dogs off the line bc i dont have cats

Yeah definately leave the cat(s) on... or in your case it might be a good idea to upgrade the cat to a newer better flowing one. I'd also do all the performance stuff under the hood first. And then I'd lower it and put some nice 18"-20" sporty looking wheels on it. Also maybe a roll pan, tint the windows, shave all the super awesome logos and stickers off of it, and just expand your horizon from there in the Truckin' Magazines. Have fun with it!

Oh yeah, rip that stupid ladder rack off first thing!

I originally thought the ladder rack was kind of cool. In my opinion it made the truck look somehow beefier. Then after a while I just got kind of tired of the extra wind noise at cruising speed.
I am looking to get a black brush/grill guard because they are just so damn handy when you have to push stuff out of the way. (Carsthat block intersections, cars take up 5 parking spaces at the store, pesky garbage cans on sidewalks...etc)

Ok, so I have a basis here:

Engine mods seem to be most favored by you guys. That is being taken into consideration. 120K is really not a good time to be adding the crazy stuff, but I'm sure I'll get around to some stuff.
Exhaust appears to have a soft spot as well. Flowmaster/Borla/Magnaflow...etc?
I was thinking some black fender flares might add something to the overall look. Opinions?
How about a black diamond plate toolbox for the bed?
Black grill w/smoked or black headlight shrouds? (W/black bow tie of course)
Z71 decaldelete?
Chevrolet tailgate decal delete?
Shopping cart defense delete?

Oh, I almost forgot! Go ahead and tint the windows myself, or just pay the extra money and have a shop do it?

BTW, if anyone in the Pacific NW is looking for a steal on a black tubular ladder rack, lightly used, hit me up.

I've been here a day and a half and I've probably already alienated 50% or more of the Silverado forum. W00t!

For mufflers check out http://www.spintechmufflers.com/spin...ntechindex.asp They don't get the press that Magnaflow and Borla do but I think they make a good product. I have, if I recall, a Sportsman XL on my Ram. It lets it exhale easier and gives it a little extra rumble. It's not super loud but I'm sure if it's volume you're looking for they have other models. They started making them for the race tracks so you know they are performance oriented. I've never tried any of the other brands so I'm not putting them down, just speaking to what I know.
