Looking for a 2001 to 2003 Silverado 1500 or GMC pickup, blue exterior, less than 80k miles, tonneau cover, would love it if it has 20 - 22" chrome wheels.
What problem areas should I be aware of or looking for when checking out these trucks?
What are some of the best options to have?

 

Some '01s with the 4L60E tranny had trouble finding first gear. The occurance is few and very far between.

 

I've been contemplating selling my 2001 silverado ext. cab, blue for awhile now.
I've got a sprayed on bedliner, hard foldable tonneau cover and at 70,500 miles.
I had step rails but they rusted through due to the weather over the years here in Ohio.
Rest of the truck is in great shape.
Not sure what I want for it though and I may be moving in Feb. again....so I may still keep the truck.

 

well i was looking at one before i found my 05 and the 03 was a gmc and with 77,00 miles it was loaded even the price after my 2500 trade they still wanted 18,900 for the truck . thats why i found my newer baby a 05 with a little more miles than that for 15,600....bill

 

Man you got a good deal on that 05. I bought my 98 with 94000 miles on it back in 2002 for $15,500.00 I think I got screwed! But my truck has been to (frozen) hell and back! Still spinnin' the tread.
