That usually uncharacteristic to older trucks. Usually it's wider at the bottom do to the frame or cab mounts failing . Yours is the opposite

In your pictures of the new paint job, the gap is good. body lines are a little off, but the gap seems OK
Not real sure about that one the cab mounts are pretty crappy but im pretty sure its because the bed only has six bolts in it. The front 2 dont have bolts or the blocks in them so im guessing the back of the bed is bolted down tighter than the front. Speaking of i need to go over all them again to make sure everything is tight because i have been driving the hell outta it lately to see what i can do haha and try and find its limitations.

Well regardless of the lines and body gaps. I think your truck looks awesome. I hope to have one some day

Thanks man, it gets the job done and runs good im not to worried about what it looks like but im looking to start another project now i just need to find something i think has enough potential.
