Default New and need help

I have a 96 Chevrolet SWB 1500. The Seat belt light on the dash stays on even when the key is out of the ignition. When you start the vehicle unbuckled, the light "blinks", but barely. Once buckled, the light remains on. I've checked the seat belts, but all seem fine. Any suggestions?

I also have some mystery wires and devices that i can't seem to locate where they go to. Neither go to the CD player. One of which is a microphone (about thumbnail size) and the other a toggle switch device.

Check your wiring under your seat. That is for the seat belt indicator.

Sounds like a wire ground probelm. Traces the wires from the seat belt under the carpet and check for loose or frayed wires going to dasboard. Two may be touching causing a short. Hope this helps.
