Exclamation No brakes after changing just rotors..:(

Hey guys i ended up having excellent brakes , my rotors were worn out so i changed them and now my pedal is very bouncy and soft . My brake pedal has no pressure what so ever . I dint change any calipers or anything to mess with the braking system.. All i did was push in the pistons of the calipers in to fit on the new rotors in front thats it . Now no brakes ..:/ what u guys think i need the truck asap too soo help would be appreciated thanks guys

Make sure you didn't blow a seal or hose when you pushed in the pistons.

Default Stuck piston

I had a piston stick after replacing the pads causing a similar reaction. I replaced the caliper, that took care of the situation I had.

Check the brake pads. The pads might be worn uneven and with the new rotors it's creating a gap. I have had 2 cars with this same complaint. Replace the pads and it should be perfect.

Don't know what truck you have, but during part of my research on my brake problem , I was told by 2 mechanics that if I pushed the caliper pistons back during a pad change, especially if I was aggressive when doing so, I may have damaged the ABS unit. I don't know all the symptoms of a bad ABS module, so it may not be that at all. That is just my 2 cents.
