Default O2 Sensor Replaced

Had code read at Auto Zone and the code read O2 sensor, bank 2. Replaced this this morning and the SEL light did not reset. I disconnected the battery for about an hour and the SEL is still on. Is there a way to reset this without taking it to a mechanic? Will it eventually go off if the sensor was bad and has been replaced? If so, how long will it take? Just want to make sure this is what the problem was.

I've done a search and was unable to find an answer on this.

Thanks

Autozone may be able to clear the code with the machine they used to read it.
