so today i got my new plugs in new wires oil filter and oil and a valve cover gasket all done to my suburban
also picked up an output shaft seal for the trans
one thing of concerne for me was when installed one of the plugs on the passenger side i got the plug snug then when i went to tighten it it wouldnt get tight so im thinking striped plug whole tread

can those be helicoiled or do i need to get a new head

I believe it could be helicoiled, but I could be wrong. How'd the tire turn out?

Also, I was wondering ... with a truck this size:

How the heck do you reach in to get to the engine and replace your valve cover gasket? Are you standing on a ladder, balancing on the bumper or climbing up in there and setting on the rad support/fender area?

well null head im about 5, 6 and 120 pounds so i climb up there and sit inside the engine compartment its not very comfortable but it gets the job done and depending on what i do i just stand on the bumper lol im going to invest in the tire ladder one day ill learn that there is an easy way to do almost everything
as far as the tire goes i still have yet to plug it due the fact that i jsut havent got around to it yet
hopefully tomorrow
for know im not driving it so i just stuck a nail in the wholes so it wont loose preesure my brother will plug it while im at work

lol its got a 4 inch lift on it and 33 inch tires so when im standing next to it the top of the fenders are right neck level lol my wife is 4 11 and when she tries to get it into she litery has to use a step ladder to get in
i plan to get some tube steps for it i am gonna use some rebar from work it is cheaper and free and its gonna be the larger size rebar not the smaller stuff people think of
