Can someone tell me, in simple terms, and I mean SIMPLE, how to place a photo for an avitar and how to put a photo in my posts?

 

Avatar Photo

(note that the photo needs to be SMALL – 145x145 pixels)
After you login, be at the main Truck Forum page and select “My Profile”
Scroll down to the “My Avatar” field and select “Upload my picture”
In the window that pops up, select “choose file” and browse to find the image on your computer

 

Here's the format:

[img]URL[/img]

Note: URL is the location of your photo on the internet.

 

How do I make my photo small enough(145 x 145) for an avatar?

 

You can either use image editing software (Photoshop, Corel Photopaint, etc), or -if you use windows- you can download a free utility, Image Resizer, from here:

Or, if you send me the image, I'd be happy to scale it down for you and send it back
